Pictures from Spring Fair 2009

Spring Fair, May 2, 2009, turned out to be a great event. The new location, weather and volunteers all helped out to make it another great year for our show.

New Location This Year

The Fair is at a new location this year – at DeSales Corner on Woodburn Ave. at Madison Rd. in East Walnut Hills.

MAP AND DIRECTIONS

There is no admission charge and parking is free.

While browsing the Fair, you'll find member artists demonstrating their potterymaking techniques. Watch as they show you how to create pots using both hand-built and wheel-thrown methods. We’re excited about this spot. The community has done a great job on its new streetscape. Our members will have that historic ambience for  their booths, while our customers will have plenty of nearby parking,” said Josh Hamaker, show chairperson.  Also at the fair this year are art displays created by students at Purcell Marian and St Ursula Academy.

These pots were donated by our potters and given away on  WNKU 89.7/94.5 FM

As a nurturing not-for-profit group, the Clay Alliance welcomes ceramic artists of all skill levels, encourages their further development, and works to raise community awareness of the ceramic craft. The Fair reflects this with its roster of experienced professionals, talented amateurs, and emerging artists.
