Help end childhood hunger in our community!  Choose your favorite handmade ceramic bowl (from 100’s of bowls!) made by local potters from the Clay Alliance when you show up for your scheduled seating.  You’ll have a choice of delicious soups, bread, and dessert, all for a great cause!  Proceeds benefit the Kids Café of the FreeStore Foodbank.  There are over 15 Kids Café locations in Greater Cincinnati, where children receive a nourishing meal, help with homework, and personal hygiene and can participate in fun activities.

Tickets are $23 per adult and $6 per child (for food only) and may be purchased on Sunday at the event.

  • 12:30pm – 2:00pm
  • 2:00pm – 3:30pm

Sounds Wonderful! Now, How do I get tickets?

THIS EVENT HAS PASSED–IT OCCURRED IN 2012!

Empty Bowls Ticket Sales-AS OF NOON ON SATURDAY (11/3), TICKETS CAN BE PURCHASED AT THE EVENT.  Purchasing tickets on PayPal is no longer available.

This year, in an effort to simplify the process, all ticket sales will be made through PayPal.  The price for an adult ticket is $23, and the price for a child is $6, which again is for food only.  The seatings this year will be the same as last:

  • 1st – 11:00-12:30
  • 2nd – 12:30-2:00
  • 3rd – 2:00-3:30

 


Buy Empty Bowls Tickets 2012 Update Nov 3:You may purchase tickets on Sunday at the event. There are a few tickets left for the first seating, plenty for 2nd and 3rd.

This year all tickets are electronic, there will be no traditional tickets, as we have had in years past. Purchase tickets online and print off the receipt. The receipt will be your ticket.

Be sure to PRINT OUT THE RECEIPT. It will be your ticket the day of the event.

 

Frequently Asked Question:

Q: How is CA handling the funds?

A: The CA has set up a specific PayPal account for Empty Bowls, so all funds will be in one place, in one form, and will then be easily transferred to the FreeStore Foodbank.

Q: What if I want to purchase a ticket for a seating that is already sold out?

A: PayPal has been set up with a limited number of tickets per seating, and will not allow the transaction to be completed if there are not enough tickets available for that seating.

Q: What if I want to purchase multiple tickets, but we don’t all arrive at the same time?

Ideally, you will print out a receipt and give one copy to each attendee.  We will also have a report of who bought tickets and how many were purchased for each seating, so we can check against that the day of the event.

Q: Since we are not using pre-printed tickets, how will CA track tickets to participants?

We will be using “chips”, so that when someone arrives and their ticket purchase is confirmed, we will provide them with a chip for the bowl line.  There will be a volunteer at the beginning of each line collecting the chips, and then the chips will be re-used.

Q: What if I don’t have a computer or a credit card?

A: Both  Core Clay and Funke Fired Arts have agreed to provide ticket sales through their computers.
